One of Southwest Amarillo's newer master-planned communities — younger roofs, but not immune to Panhandle hail and wind.
The Colonies is one of Amarillo's newer, higher-end neighborhoods — walkable streets, custom-built homes, and roof systems that are generally younger than what you'll find in Amarillo's older neighborhoods. That doesn't mean they're immune to hail and wind. Newer doesn't mean undamaged, and a lot of homeowners in newer builds assume a recent roof is automatically fine after a storm — it's worth a real inspection either way, especially with the size and pitch of many of the homes in The Colonies.
Newer neighborhoods often see a wave of storm-chasing contractors move in and out after a bad hailstorm. We're not one of them — we've been a local, family-owned Amarillo roofing company since 2008, and we handle the roof, gutters, siding, and fascia all under one crew and one point of contact, without subbing your job out to whoever's available that week.
